a bittersweet farewell… 09/18/2026

Dear Valued Guests,

I have cut and colored my last bit of hair and officially hung up my shears. With a full heart, I’m announcing that M. Joie Hair Design is officially closed.

I am filled with gratitude for each and every one of you. What began as a career 40 years ago, has become so much more—a collection of meaningful relationships, wonderful memories, and friendships that I will treasure for years to come.

Thank you for trusting me with your hair, your time, and a little piece of your lives. Thank you for every visit, every conversation, every laugh, every tear, and for continuing to support me through all the seasons and changes life brings.

Your loyalty has allowed me to build a career that I truly love. I never took that for granted. It has been an incredible privilege to watch families grow, celebrate milestones with you, and welcome generations of guests into my chair.

As I close this chapter and begin a new season of retirement, I can honestly say that the best part of this journey has always been you.

Thank you for choosing me, supporting my business, and being part of my salon family. I am deeply grateful for each and every one of you. I will carry the memories, conversations, laughter, and friendships with me as I move forward.
